I was in your shoes for many years. I worked in marketing departments for large, global companies and I know what it’s like to be the lone marketer for a tiny family-owned business.
When the content surge began, I was excited. As a writer, I thought it meant I’d have an opportunity to do what I do best in service of my career. But as you well know – it’s not easy carve out time to create when your calendar is perpetually full.
A mentor of mine, a very accomplished CMO, told me one day that I’d probably have to choose. I could be a writer or continue to move along the path she’d chosen for herself. So I chose.
I now write white papers and eBooks, blog posts and other web content for companies large and small. My friends call me “the sponge” because I love to learn. If you work with me, I’ll commit to learning about your industry, your company and your prospects so that I can represent you in the words that I choose. My goal is to speak with your voice to your customers and prospects.
What Makes Me Different? I’m a Marketer.
I may not be in the trenches anymore, but I spent ten years there. And every day, I’m working with and visiting clients whose calendars are just as full as mine was. I write to move prospects through the buyer’s journey. I do consulting work to help bring outside eyes to web content refresh projects. I even write extensive drip email campaigns because that’s the world I came from.
